The Inspiration Point Fire Department Auxiliary will hold their annual Chili Cook-off and Cornbread Contest on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 5 – 8 p.m. at IP Station 1, 21 Ozark Automotive Road.
Entries have been opened up this year for chefs living outside the Inspiration Point District. If you would like to enter the contest leave a message on the IPFD Facebook page. If you are not a cook, come out and help eat all the wonderful chili. Judging begins at 5 p.m.
Cost for the event is $8 and gets you a bowl of chili, cornbread, iced tea and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by the Good Shepherd Pickers, a local bluegrass group.
