The longest running Folk Festival in the United States kicks off Thursday with the cherished tradition of Hedgehoppers performing at the Auditorium. The dancing of Eureka’s 3rd graders will be followed by an Elite Dance Studio Folk Festival tribute. Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Lucinda Williams will perform Friday at the Aud. The historic Barefoot Ball features music by David Mayfield Parade and begins at 10 p.m. in the Basin Park Barefoot Ballroom. There is free Diversity Weekend music in Basin Park starting Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., drumming in the park will follow at 6 p.m. Visit ozarkfolkfestival.com for a full list of events and music.
